“I take shopping for fragrances very seriously: for me it’s like going to a museum, a museum that houses perfectly designed perfume bottles, a museum where your senses can get caught to the point where you smell nothing but amazing fragrances around you…”
Well, this might have been a bit extra but it pretty much sums up what I truly think when I go to the perfect-perfume hunt. One of the biggest things involved when I shop for fragrances is the sensation I am looking for in a perfume (I wrote something about this in my review of Chanel n°5 and Chanel n°5 l’EAU which you can read right here) which besides its notes, gives it the final touch, that is to say the mood of the perfume. This is something that’s crucial to me when choosing the fragrance I will wear, because it gives you and your whole outfit the final touch and signature.
My number one goal for this year is to start becoming my own boss and as a person who likes to accentuate the mood of something with the right fragrance, I have found myself the perfect fragrance to smell like a boss lady! I know it takes more than a fragrance to become it, but you know… baby steps… 😉
The fragrance I have been loving to smell on myself lately is by Cartier and it’s called La Panthère Eau De Parfum Légère.
From the panther-head shaped bottle to the fragrance itself, to me Cartier has reached perfection with this creation.
This fragrance is definitely on the floral side with middle chypre notes and final citrusy touches which, for this spring, will be one of the combinations I will try to use the most. It is for sure an enchanting scent, not heavy at all but strong enough to last all night and even the morning after, making it the right fragrance for a busy woman who wants a perfume that lasts all day, a head-turner fragrance which screams “I’m the boss here”.
Being a perfumes collector, this one is absolutely a must have for me because I love showcasing a nice perfume bottle and besides that, this fragrance is one of my favourites since the first time I smelled it. Again, including sensations as one of the biggest factors which determines what fragrance I will go for, this one immediately caught my attention because it gave me that elegant, sophisticated and boss lady vibe.
Here‘s the link if you want to purchase it from their website, I promise you won’r regret trying it!
