DIY Super Affordable Hydrating and Exfoliating Body Mask

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog 🙂

Today, as you saw from the title, I am going to show you a super easy and affordable DIY body mask that you can do at home with simple and all natural ingredients! Unlike my face, my body skin is really dry and so for me it’s important to exfoliate the dead skin away while giving my body deep nourishment and hydration. If this sounds like something you would be interesting then follow me as I show you how to do this simple body mask at home!

Coconut Oil

Brown Cane Sugar

Rose Petals

A bowl

A spoon

That’s it!

The procedure it very simple! You only need to put the coconut oil into the bowl and then add some brown sugar. For the next step you only need to stir these two ingredients all together until you get them well blended. You can adjust the quantity of sugar or coconut oil depending on what you want to achieve: I usually put a bit more of brown sugar because this way it’s going to scrub deeply.

Now, the fun part (for me)! Once you have the coconut oil and the brown sugar all blended together, the next thing you want to do it take a bunch or rose petals and put them on top of the scrub. (I use red roses petals just because they’re my favourites, but you can literally add any kind of petals you like! I’s going to add a nice smell and it will just make this body mask more fabulous, beautiful and funnier to try! 🙂 I would also try this with some tulip petals as well, it would look and smell great too!)

And… that’s literally it! Your body mask is ready to use. Before you put it all over your body, make sure you stir everything together so the rose petals will be blended with the rest of the ingredients as well!

No surprise here! Using this body mask is very simple: just take a hot shower and then, before applying your regular body wash, apply the scrub all over your body and massage it with circular motion. Just take few moments for yourself and let the coconut oil soak in so it will hydrate your body thoroughly, while the brown sugar will take all the dead skin away!

This is a very simple mask you can do at home and as you saw it is super affordable. Plus, you can use the coconut oil for so many things beauty related. For example, you can use it as a make up remover, which will also act as a moisturizer, since coconut oil is super good for hydration; coconut oil is also good to use as a hair mask before your shampoo. If you want, I have got a whole post up on my blog where I show you how I take care of my hair with all natural products, including coconut oil! I will link it down below if you’re interested.

Ok guys, this is it for today’s post! I hope you enjoyed it and let me know if you tried it and how you like it!

Thanks for stopping by and I will catch you on my next post, bye! xx
