They got me, they got us covered. I’m sure by now you all know what I’m talking about and for anyone who doesn’t know them, this is my review on the Zitsticka patches* This cute little box comes with 8 Cleaning Swabs and 8 pimple patches. • HOW THEY’RE MADE: - The Cleaning Swabs are soaked with ingredients that help you clean the infected area (such as tea tree oil, alcohol and salicylic acid) and prep the area to then apply the patch. - The Zitsticka patches are especially formulated with 24 self dissolving micro darts which help its ingredients penetrate into the skin. They are formulated with niacinamide and salicylic acid which are both great at treating acne and inflammation. • HOW TO USE THEM: Clean the interested area using one Cleana Swab and then apply the Zitsticka patch onto the pimple. • MY THOUGHTS: I really like pimple patches in general because I have the bad habit of constantly touching and picking them. Not only the patches cover the pimple, but they also inject ingredients that help it heal and come out much faster. What’s not to love about them?! What I really like about these patches is that they properly stick to your face even after you’ve applied creams and oils and they’re still there the morning after. I have had mixed experiences with them tho, because yes, they work best on early stage pimples by flattening them and reducing the inflammation, although I have found that with more stubborn pimples you might need more than one application, which will lead you to use at least two pimple patches and two cleana swabs and I think you should really considering that before buying them (they retail for 27£ and 29$). One thing people are very concerned about these patches is the excessive amount of packaging. And I totally get it, because each patch and each swab are packed individually and the patches especially have a lot of plastic around them, which isn’t very ideal when you’re trying to control the amount of plastic you use.
